Been craving bread lately - probably a candida flare-up due to a bit of overindulging on the book tour -- so I made some almond bread (almonds, water, olive oil, salt, ground flax seed) and made some blackberry jam with just the berries, yacon syurup and chia seeds. Have a batch of Hazelnut bread in the dehydrator now - only change were the nuts and used macadamia oil. Satisfying substitute!

Yesterday I was back at The Daytime Show (this will air Thursday, 3/24 @ 10 am here in greater Tampa and I'm near the beginning of the show) Food critic Elizabeth Dougherty came to visit me on the set and had a chance to taste some raw foods. Thursday's segment is about "creative green-ing" and in about a week or so will be my "Trustables" alternative for PB&J sandwiches.
Getting all my stuff together for the two segments they are taping on Daytime tomorrow - one will air this Thursday on NBC (10 am in Greater Tampa) Theme: healthy salads that even your kids will love and Creative Green-ing.
