Blood-Building Tonic

Ingredients:

  • 2 tomatoes
  • 2 carrots
  • 3 celery sticks
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 small piece fresh ginger
  • 1 lemon
  • handful of leafy greens (baby spinach, arugula, dandelion leaves)
  • dash of cayenne
  • tablespoon of nutritional yeast (when not fasting)

Directions: Juice through a centrifugal or masticating juicer. You can also blend in a Vitamix or other blender, but make sure to strain it if you are drinking juices or fasting for health benefits.

Raw Cocoa

Ingredients: 1 cup of seed or nut milk, 1 tsp. vanilla extract (alcohol-free!), sweetener (see options above) 1 ½ tbs. raw cacao or cacao nibs (adjust cacao to taste) Dash of salt, cayenne or chili pepper (optional) will bring out more of the chocolate taste.

Options: For a thicker and highly nutritious treat, add your favorite Superfoods (maca, mesquite, lucuma) or a tbs. of vanilla protein powder. Add a tablespoon of Suzanne’s Ricemellow Crème to float on top.

Green Fairy’s Lemonade

Ingredients: 1/2 head of romaine, 5 stalks kale (use only leaves), 1 lemon, 1 apple, 1/2 - 1 in. fresh ginger, 1/2 cucumber, 1/2 cup fresh or frozen pineapple, filtered water, ice (optional)

Options: Sweeten with raw honey or agave nectar to taste.
